Keepers Cottage is located on the banks of the River Severn in the village of Atcham on the edge of the picturesque town of Shrewsbury. Originally the main house was built in the 1840's, but in 2020 the cottage underwent extensive renovations and extensions by the current owners to create a spacious 5 bedroom house. (sleeps 12) The property also benefits from a separate 2 bedroom annexe (sleeps 4) with its own kitchen, bathroom and lounge. There is also a 1 bedroom studio above the garage (sleeps 3). The entire site can therefore accommodate 19 guests when rented as whole.
Being located on the banks of the River Severn, the property benefits from fishing rights and has spectacular views towards The Wrekin and beyond. The Severn Way is accessed from the bottom of the garden which is popular with walkers across the region.
OUR ROOMS
There are 5 ensuite bedrooms within the main cottage.
All bedrooms have a Kingsize bed or a SuperKing Bed which can be separated into 2 singles if required. One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor with an accessible wet room suitable for disabled or elderly guests.
